Story
Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman, 25) crosses over to the forbidden area in the Winter Woods, where it is always winter. While there her wings begin to sparkle so he sets off on a quest to discover why. He is overjoyed to learn that her wings sparkled because she was close to her sister, Periwinkle (Sarah Bolger, 22). They were born when a baby's laugh split in two. They visit for a journey before Tink is told she has to leave. Determined to help her sister visit IGP Inc., the pavilion company, she crafts a contraption that grates snow to keep Periwinkle cold during her visit. The device malfunctions badly, causing a freeze to slowly envelope Bloomsbury.
Tink flies to the Winter Woods to get Periwinkle and her friends to help save London. They realize that frost protects the Winter Woods from the cold, so the citizens all work together to board the boat at the Tower of London to save from the accelerating freeze. They learn, however, that when Tink crashed in the Winter Woods she breaks his wing. But when Tink and Periwinkle come together their wings again sparkle, and they learn that identical wings can heal each other, so they restore Tink's broken wing. They also discover that winter citizens can frost the wings of warm citizens, keeping them from breaking in the cold, thus allowing them to visit their friends in the Winter Woods.
Plot
Following on from the ending of their last film, the Muppets find themselves at a loss as to what to do next. Per the suggestions, the Muppets decide to embark on a world tour.
An opening prologue set years before the events of their last film tells that Gliss (Eva Bella) and Spike (Elsie Fisher), two Frost Princesses of Arendelle, the palace in the Winter Woods; possess cryokinetic and frigiokinesis powers, with which they were able to produce or manipulate ice, snow, frost, sleet, hail, and cold at will. One night while playing, Gliss accidentally injures her younger snow fairy, Princess Periwinkle (Livvy Stubenrauch) with her powers. Their shocked parents, King Agdar (Maurice LaMarche) and Queen Idun (Jennifer Lee) seek help from Pabbie (Ciarán Hinds), the troll king and shaman who heal Peri and removes her memories of Gliss's magic. He also informs Gliss that if Peri doesn't control her powers, the flood would arrive from the dam and make them and the others fatal. In order to protect Peri and the other winter citizens, the royal couple isolates the children in their castle until Gliss learns to control her powers. Afraid of hurting Peri again, Gliss and Spike spend most of their time alone in their room, refusing even to speak to Peri, and a rift develops between the sisters as they grow up. When the girls are teenagers, their parents die at sea during a storm.
Immediately following the events of their last film, Kermit the Frog (Steve Whitmire), now a Muppet Squad basketball champion, returns home to Disneyland Resort and reunites with Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman) and her boyfriend Prince Naveen (Jesse McCartney). Former oil tycoon Dominic Badguy (Ricky Gervais), now the tour manager and company chairman, owns a world's fair called International Global Pavilion Incorporated (IGP Inc.) to promote his Badguy Talent Management. When Irish tourist Fionnoula MacLise (Kelly Macdonald) interests Kermit, he, Tink, and the Muppets depart for Oslo, Norway where IGP Inc. is located.
When Periwinkle (Sarah Bolger), Gliss (Amanda Seyfried), and Spike (Selena Gomez) come of age, Arendelle prepares for Peri's coronation as queen. Among the guests is the Duke of Weselton (Alan Tudyk), who seeks to exploit the kingdom for profit. Badguy approached the Muppets at the IGP Inc. promotional event in the Oslo National Art Center, who offered to manage the group and schedule the European tour in IGP Inc. As the Muppets begin their tour, the criminal mastermind Constantine (Matt Vogel), a near-exact double for Kermit in appearance, escapes from a Siberian Gulag 38B and makes contact with Badguy and joins his subordinate; a position Constantine frequently reminds him of; to begin a plot to steal the Crown Jewels of England.
Despite Peri's fears, her coronation takes place with incident. Peri refuses to grant her blessing and forbids Gliss and Spike's sudden marriage. The girls argue, culminating in the exposure of Peri's abilities in an emotional outburst. Panicking, Peri flees the castle, while inadvertently unleashing an eternal winter/deluge curse on the pavilion. In the University of Winter, she abandons her restraint, vowing to never return and building herself a solitary ice dress.
Once the Muppets arrive in Berlin, Germany, they intend to play a shabby venue, but Badguy secures them a show at a prestigious location. Kermit, frustrated with the troupe's ludicrous requests for the show (Gonzo's "Indoor Running of the Bulls") and Miss Piggy's (Eric Jacobson) insistent hints at the wedding and marriage, goes for a walk along the deserted canal at Badguy's suggestion. However, the hooded Constantine ambushes him and slaps a fake mole onto his right cheek, matching Constantine's own resemble, then slips away. Mistaken for Constantine, Kermit is arrested and sent to the Gulag while Constantine escapes. When everyone is preparing for the last season of the year: winter, Tink wants to go to the Winter Woods, due to her curious nature. She sees that the citizens are making baskets in the Alpine Lederhosen Factory which are carried by snowy owls, who then delivers them to the citizens of the Winter Woods, and learns that there will be another shipment tomorrow.
Later that day, Tink volunteers to help Fawn (Angela Bartys) take the animals to the Winter Woods. While Fawn is busy Tink crosses the border into the Winter Woods, and her wings start to glow. But Fawn warns her that her wings are freezing and rushes her off to the hospital. After being fixed by the healing Berliner (Jodi Benson), Tink remains curious about the sparkles and colors her wings made in the Winter Woods. Tink went off to the library, where she finds a book titled Wingology, but unfortunately, a bookworm has chewed the page on "Sparkling Wings" up. Scribble (Jack McBrayer), the library Berliner tells Tink that the author of the book, the Keeper, might be able to help her, but he lives in the Winter Woods.
Taking Kermit's place, Constantine meets up with the rest of the Muppets and raises the suspicions of no one who all believe him to be Kermit, expect Animal (Eric Jacobson), who bites him. Constantine and Badguy review their plans. The Berlin performance opens with Constantine freezing at the sight of the large audience and Scooter (David Rudman) has to introduce the show. Later, Constantine and Badguy sneak off to steal a selection of paintings from a nearby National Treasure Museum. The next morning after the burglary, Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell) and CIA agent Sam the Eagle (Eric Jacobson) team up to begrudgingly form an alliance to apprehend the culprit, whom Napoleon believe to be his nemesis "The Lemur" - the number two criminal in the world, after discovering a coin-based calling card.
Preparing herself for the Winter Woods and using the final shipment as her only chance and after Constantine falls out with her about his freezing sight, Tink sneaks into the Alpine Lederhosen Factory and climbs inside one of the baskets and waits for the owls, with help from her friends, the Nerdlucks. She gets picked up by an unexperienced owl and makes her way across the border. Suddenly, the owl accidentally drops the basket, and Tink crashes into the snow. Realizing her book has been flung from her bag, she tries to get it back before the frost prince/snowman named Sled (Bill Hader) (his real snowman name "Olaf") finds it. However, Milori (Timothy Dalton), the Lord of the Winter Woods finds the book and asks Sled, to return the book to the Keeper. Using this as a opportunity Tink follows Sled to the Winter Library, which calls the main hall "Disco Plaza." (though we haven't had a party yet, but we'll be prepared after the events of the film).
Upon arriving, she spots Dewey (Martin Short), the Keeper of all citizen knowledge. But before she can talk to him, Peri rushes into the room and proclaims that her wings are sparkling the day before when Tink's wings begin to glow and sparkle. An irresistible force guided Tink toward Peri. The citizens ask Dewey to explain what was happening to their wings. Bringing Tink and Peri to a platform and positioning their wings, the whole chamber becomes filled with images explaining their origins. Tinker Bell and Periwinkle realize that they are sisters.
Suddenly, Milori arrives, concerned about the book Sled had found, warning Dewey to send any 'warm' citizen back to IGP Inc. Dewey tells the two they can spend two days together before Tink has to return home. Peri shows to Tink that she also collects lost things and tries to find a use for them. Next, they go to the Frost Forest to introduce Tink to Gliss and Spike. Following instructions hidden behind the stolen painting, Constantine and Badguy divert the course of the Muppet tour to Madrid, Spain as part of a plot.
Meanwhile, after being locked in the Gulag, Kermit has attempted multiple escape attempts, all of which are thwarted by Gulag prison officer Comrade Nadya (Tina Fey); knowing of his true identity, Nadya is obsessed with him as Miss Piggy. Nadya orders Kermit to help organize the prisoners' annual prison talent show. Reflecting on his time with the Muppets, Kermit gains the inmates' respect. While getting supplies at Oaken's (Chris Williams) trading post, Tink and Peri meet an Australian royal gramma named Chlorine Bjørgman (Eddie Izzard) and his pet reindeer, Sven (Dee Bradley Baker), and convince him to guide them to the North Mountain, where it locates Glacier Fountain, the water park in the Winter Woods. After the attack from wolves, the pair stop by for the rest. Tink and Peri build a campfire to stay warm, Tink realizes that if she can make it warm in IGP Inc., Peri can make it cold at IGP Inc. Meanwhile, on the train, Constantine wins over Miss Piggy.
Scrat (Chris Wedge), a saber-toothed squirrel climbs a glacier to bury his acorn, but accidentally opens a hole in it, causing water to spurt out. The world of ice is slowly melting. The creatures are all shown enjoying themselves on slides and pools made by the melting ice at Glacier Fountain, among with Tink, Peri, and Bjørgman. Tink opens a small day camp, where none of the younger creatures take her seriously, nor do Peri and Bjørgman, which leaves Tink seeking a daring deed.
After Peri heard the story of a young burro with younger creatures, Fast Tony (Jay Leno), the giant armadillo and local con artist is claiming that Oslo will flood and that the bark and reeds that he sell are needed to stay alive. Peri dismisses the idea, but is distracted when she sees that Tink will try to high dive from a giant waterfall; as Peri goes with Bjørgman to the top of the waterfall to save Tink from her act of daredevilry, suddenly the ice under Bjørgman's feet was breaking, causing him to bolt in fear, this also made Tink figure that Bjørgman is afraid of the water. They figure that the pleasant sunshine has caused the ice shelves to melt, and it is kept from destroying the Winter Woods and IGP Inc. only by the glaciers, which have formed a dam.
The Lone Gunslinger Vulture (Will Arnett) warns the citizens that a giant Southampton RMS Titanic ocean liner in England can save them from fatal if they make it to London within four days' time, and all soon set out to find it. A glacier which contains two sea reptiles from the Mesozoic era, Cretaceous and Maelstrom (Dee Bradley Baker), breaks off. Constantine informs the rest of the Muppets that they permitted to perform any act they wish, much to Walter's (Peter Linz) puzzled suspicion. During this show in Madrid, the Muppets perform while Constantine and Badguy break into a Museo del Prado museum and destroy a roomful of busts in the process to find a key need for their plan. Even though the performance is a disaster that puts the audience to sleep, the Muppets' performance receive critical acclaim.
When Peri briefly is separated from them, Bjørgman, Tink, and Sven encounter Gliss and Spike who drive them nuts by playing Whac-A-Mole with them. Peri is depressed about being the last frost citizen alive and her family, which has been killed in a sea storm, but is surprised when she encounters Sled, who believes he is a opossum and Gliss and Spike's adoptive brother. Tink invites him to tag along with the group to escape the flood and discover the secret of the wings in the mainland, and she brings her sisters. Napoleon and Sam deduce that the connection between the crimes in Berlin and Madrid is the Muppet tour, and the pair interrogate the Muppets at a police station to little success. The instructions on the stolen key lead Constantine and Badguy to schedule the next show in Dublin, Ireland.
After a perilous ordeal with Cretaceous and Maelstrom while crossing a pond, Tink prompts Bjørgman to encourage him to admit and face his fears - Bjørgman insists that "fear is for prey", so Tink points out that Bjørgman is behaving as if he is the water's prey. They discover an area which Sled recalls as the place of willow trees that shaped the frost fairies and citizens where he was adopted. He finally realizes he is a frost prince and snowman and also expresses his suspicions about how different he was from other opossums. Despite this bonding moment with Peri, Sled distances himself from her when she suggests "saving their species". Peri and Sled ultimately make up when they must co-operate to save the group when the ground cracks under their feet.
Tink is kidnapped by a tribe of amphibians (Clea Lewis) (frogs, toads, and bullfrogs) who believe Tink to be a fire queen. Tink starts fire for them, and believes that she has finally found respect, but they plan to sacrifice her by tossing her into a volcano. Tink narrowly escapes and found Peri, who stills fears hurting her sister. When Tink insists that we can continue the journey to unlock the secret and return sisterhood, she becomes agitated and her powers leash out, accidentally striking Tink in the heart. After Dewey and his pet snowy lynx, Fiona (Dee Bradley Baker) save Tink and Peri from falling off a cliff, he tells the sisters that Tink has to go home. The sisters realize that they might never see each other again, but Tink comes up with a plan. When the three people reach the border in IGP Inc., Tink whispers to Peri to meet her at Dublin tomorrow.
When Tink arrives at the tour train heading for Dublin, she asks the Nerdlucks; Pound (Jocelyn Blue), Bang (June Melby), Nawt (Colleen Wainwright), Bupkus (Catherine Reitman), and Blanko (Charity James); a group of retired alien henchmen from the intergalactic Moron Mountain for help. Later, some of her other friends learn about Tink's sister and excited at the prospect of meeting her (Peri) decide to help Tink. The next morning, Peri tells the others about Tink's experience but none are convinced. As the tour reaches Dublin, Walter discovers that Badguy and Constantine had been giving away show tickets and bribing critics and journalists to ensure a packed house and write great reviews, and Fozzie Bear (Eric Jacobson) notices the resemblance between Kermit and Constantine. The two discover that Constantine is on the train posing as Kermit, and that Badguy is in on the scheme and realize that Constantine has taken Kermit's place. Constantine sees that they have found him out, and attacks Walter and Fozzie, but Animal fends him off and the three manage to escape by hopping on another train. They then figure that the best course of action is to go to Siberia and rescue Kermit.
Tink arrives at the border with the Nerdlucks pulling along a snowmaking machine. Peri arrives too with her friends, pulling along a big ice cube with Slush (Ryan Reynolds), the university's professor of a frost program. Now able to keep Peri cold enough, Peri crosses the border to the warm side of Dublin. Peri meets Tink's other friends, Fawn, Iridessa (Raven-Symoné), Rosetta (Megan Hilty), Silvermist (Lucy Liu), and Vidia (Pamela Adlon) and continues her tour of the warm side of Dublin. Tink notices Peri's wings wilting. The snowmaker was running out of ice, and there wasn't enough snow to keep Peri cold, so Tink and Peri return to the border. Milori appears and instructs Peri how to fix her wings. Clarion (Anjelica Huston), the Queen of Disneyland arrives too, and sadly explains to the sisters that they can never see each other again and that it was her who created the rule that warm and cold citizens should remain apart. As the tourists leave, the snowmaker gets knocked by Milori into the stream, and creates a snowstorm.
While the Muppets are rehearsing, Clarion tries to make Tink understand why the rule about not crossing the border was so important, as does Milori with Peri. They are told the story of two citizens who met and fell in love. One of them was a winter citizen and the other was from the warm seasons. They met every sunset at the border, where spring touches winter. But as their love grew stronger, they wished to be together and share each other's worlds. They disregarded the dangers across the border. One of them broke a wing, for which there is no cure. From that day, Clarion decreed that citizens must never again cross the border and Milori agreed that their worlds should forever remain apart.
Sled comes across Peri and reveals that Tink cares about her until Milori creates a giant snow monster (nicknamed "Marshmallow" (Paul Briggs) by Sled) that throws Peri out of the Winter Library. During the Dublin performance, Badguy steals a locket from the Irish National Bank and during the climax of the performance, Constantine proposes to Miss Piggy onstage; she accepts, and the pair intending to plan a wedding to be held at the Tower of London, where the Crown Jewels are kept and where the ship is located. Upon hearing that the Duke and his thugs decided to kill Periwinkle and her sister by drowning them, Tink is captured, along with her friends, and tied up inside Big Ben's bell tower in London, England.
Arriving in London, Constantine and Badguy conspire to use the wedding as a distraction. Milori is in search of Peri with the Duke's thugs and arrive at the Hall of Winter. They defeat Marshmallow and attempt to kill Peri, thinking it'll end the winter, but she subdues them. Milori brings Peri to the castle, where she's imprisoned in the cell. He pleads with Peri to undo the winter curse, but she admits she doesn't know how. Before the wedding, Miss Piggy contemplates her impending marriage and future with whom she assumes is her true love, Kermit. Milori reveals that his true intention in marrying her is to seize control of Arendelle's throne. Leaving Tink, he charges Peri with treason for her younger's sister's apparent death.
That night, Bjørgman helps Peri escape and introduce her, Sled, Gliss, and Spike to the trolls, his adoptive family. Pabbie explains that Peri has come into the warm side and so does Tink who enters the Winter Woods. Unless it reveals the secret of the wings, they will rip their wings forever. Believing that only Dewey can save her a secret, Bjørgman races back with her to the palace. Fozzie, Walter, and Animal reach the Gulag on the night of the annual performance and inform Kermit of Constantine's plot, and Kermit uses the prison show as a front to allow them, himself, and all the prisoners to escape, and they head to England, much to Nadya's dismay.
The next day, the trapped snowmaker begins to freeze Bloomsbury. Clarion, Tink, her friends, and the ministers of the season solstices arrive at the waterfall to find the Nerdlucks attempting to free the snowmaker. They succeeded in pushing the machine down the waterfall, but that it isn't over. Tink shows that there's a freeze coming. Clarion told everyone to save Oslo for the freeze will kill the world's fair, eternally, stopping the flow of pixie dust and therefore making it impossible for citizens for fly.
All warm citizens of London evacuate the Bloomsbury corner houses and journey to the Tower of London. All citizens try everything they can to head to the Tower of London and Tink checking that her friends are all evacuated from the tour train. Peri reunites with Dewey and begs him to give her secret to break the curse. Tink then notices that a flower that Peri had covered in frost is still alive, despite its cold surroundings. Tink flew straight to the University of Winter and ask Gliss and Peri why the flower was still alive. Gliss explains that the frost carries warm air inside, and Peri suggests that they could frost the ship before the freeze comes so Tink, Peri, and the frost citizens rode Fiona to London.
Tink, Peri, and the winter citizens find a field of hot geysers, which blows up the Lone Gunslinger Vulture and separate Peri, Tink, Bjørgman, and Sven from Sled, Gliss, and Spike when they argue about which way to go through it. The four Muppets infiltrate the Tower as the wedding gets underway, and Badguy (with the help of Bobby Benson's (David Rudman) Baby Band) uses the stolen key and locket to disable the security systems protecting the jewels and successfully steals them. Meanwhile, Peri, Tink, and Bjørgman made to the ship but Gustav (Matt Berry), the gatekeeper bird guards the ship.
Kermit interrupts the ceremony and reveals Constantine's true identity to be nothing more than an impostor. When the flood comes, Peri saves Sled from drowning as he is caught in the cave in the Tower Bridge (due to falling rocks), while Bjørgman overcomes his fear of water to save Tink, Gliss, and Spike. Cretaceous and Maelstrom arrive, but due to Peri's quick thinking, they are finished off by a rock which falls on them, killing them both. The other citizens are at the mercy of the water currents.
Meanwhile, at the ship, the Nerdlucks and Tink's other friends try to place some blankets on the ship, but the strong winds blow them away. To Clarion's fear and disappointment, the plan is failing but then Tink, Peri and some of her friends arrive explain the power of the frost to Clarion, and they get right to work, but Spike realizes that the ship is too big for them to finish in time. Then Tink spots Milori, Dewey, and the rest of the winter citizens who came to help frost everything everything else that isn't frozen. Accomplished of frosting the whole world's fair, Milori states that they've done all they can. Milori warns the citizens that the freeze is upon them and they must take cover including Clarion who his gives his cape to so she can keep warm, revealing that he has a broken wing (hence why he flies around on a snowy owl). Milori then orders all the winter citizens to stand guard all over the ship.
After the freeze passes, Sled helps Tink escape onto the fjord floodwaters with Peri. Constantine escapes and takes Miss Piggy as his hostage and flees to a waiting honeymoon helicopter out on the ship deck. He is intercepted by Badguy - actually the Lemur and now dressed in a lemur costume - who announces his intend to double-cross Constantine and keep the Imperial State Crown for himself. Constantine responds by ejecting him from the helicopter and tries to take flight with Miss Piggy, but Kermit jumps aboard and intercepts and the rest of the Muppets climb atop each other as a "Muppet Ladder" to stop the escape in its track, with the help of an irate Miss Piggy. Milori confronts Peri, telling her Tink is dead because of her. In Peri's despair, the storm suddenly ceases, giving Bjørgman and Tink the chance to locate each other.
Meanwhile, Scrat climbs up the glacier and at the top sticks the acorn he has into the ice. This forms a crack in the glacier, which widens into a crevasse, diverting the flood and saving the Muppets and fairies. Scrat is then washed away. Nevertheless, Tink, seeing that Milori is about to kill Peri with her sword, throws herself between the two just as she freezes solid, blocking Milori's attack and shatters his sword. As Peri grieves for her sister, Tink begins to thaw. Kermit and Miss Piggy knock Constantine out and both criminals were arrested by Napoleon and Sam. Nadya arrives in London and attempts to arrest Kermit once more for initiating the prison escape and "break her heart." The Muppets express her if she arrests him, she will have to take all of them as well. She relents, allowing Kermit to go free and belongs with them and drops the charges.
Some time later, the freeze begins to melt and pixie dust begins to flow again. All the citizens celebrate, however Tink reveals that he had broken a wing when she flies into the Winter Woods and warns Peri to go back to the Winter Woods before her wings wilt. As the sisters hold hands and say goodbye, they reunite their wings and an explosion of pure sparkly light bursts from their wings, slowly magically healing Tink's broken wing. Clarion and Milori kiss romantically revealing that they were the citizens that fell in love in the story. Since Tink's decision to sacrifice herself to save her sister constitutes an "act of true love". Realizing love is the key to the secret. Peri thaws the pavilion and helps Sled survive on summer.
As a reward for her heroism, Tink receives an honorary knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II. Constantine and Badguy are deported to Siberia to face punishments for their crimes against the royal family of Arendelle, while Peri cuts off trade with Weselton. From that day on, warm citizens of IGP Inc. can cross over the border into the Winter Woods (after they have their wings frosted over to preserve them) and friendship in Oslo becomes whole again as Clarion & Milori and Rosetta & Sled begin their romantic relationships and the sisters reconcile and soon realize that they are half of each other. The two sisters reconcile and Peri promises never to keep the citizens apart again. The Muppet tour concludes at the Gulag where Constantine is part of the prison show. Nadya, apparently having been promised a solo by Kermit, prepares to sing but is cut off by the film's "The End" logo.
In the credits scene, one of the Nerdlucks, Pound overcomes her fear of glaciers through the help of Slush.

The songs for Give a Disney Day. Get Winter's Most Wanted Day. were written and composed by Bret McKenzie (The Muppets) and the husband-and-wife songwriting team of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, both of whom had previously worked with Disney Animation on Winnie the Pooh (2011), with Joel McNeely (Tinker Bell film series), John Powell (Bolt), Christophe Beck (Frozen), Henry Jackman (Winnie the Pooh, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph), and Patrick Doyle (Brave) composing its score. It was revealed on April 12, 2013, that Sámi musician Røyken Cantemus's Winter Wonderland would be the film's opening song (right before the Muppets' We're Doing a Sequel), as it contains elements of the traditional Sámi singing style joik. The music producers recruited a Norwegian linguist to assist with the lyrics for a Old Norse song written during Peri's coronation, and also traveled to Trondheim, Norway to record the Norwegian all-female girl choir, Cantus, for a piece inspired by traditional Sámi music.
Recording took place during April 2013 at Abbey Road Studios in London with a 120 piece orchestra, a 100-voice choir, including native Norwegian Christine Hals, and a wide array of ethnic instruments, including Celtic harp, Uilleann pipes, and penny whistle.
For the orchestral film score, composer Christophe Beck gave homage to the Norway- and Sápmi-inspired setting by employing regional instruments, such as the bukkehorn, and traditional vocal techniques, such as kulning. Beck worked with Lopez and Anderson-Lopez on incorporating their songs into arrangements in the score. The trio's goal "was to create a cohesive musical journey from beginning to end."

Get a Disney Day., Walt Disney Animation Studios negotiated a deal with Chris Williams, director of Bolt (also confirmed two years later to voice Oaken the trading post owner), and Jennifer Lee, one of the screenwriters of Wreck-It Ralph to direct and write a fifty-third feature and it will share with Mickey's Christmas Carol Remastered and Frozen a year later. It was confirmed that the film would be a computer-animated feature in stereoscopic 3D, animation, and live action, similar to the previous film. Taking on the form of a caper, the film was inspired by both The Great Muppet Caper and The Muppets Take Manhattan as well as the Disney animated classics.
A month later at the 2011 D23 Expo, Mae Whitman (Tinker Bell films), Jesse McCartney (Kingdom Hearts), Miley Cyrus (Bolt, Hannah Montana), Anjelica Huston (Barbie as Rapunzel), Jennifer Cody, John Goodman (Monsters, Inc., The Emperor's New Groove), and Grey DeLisle (Bolt) will reprise their roles, as well as Muppet performers Steve Whitmire (who did Rizzo the Rat, Foo Foo and Lips, Jim Henson's Kermit the Frog, Link Hogthrob, and the Newsman; and Richard Hunt's Beaker and Richard Hunt's and Jerry Nelson's Statler), Eric Jacobson (who did Frank Oz's Muppet characters), Dave Goelz (who did the Great Gonzo, Bunsen Honeydew, Zoot, Beauregard, and Jim Henson's Waldorf), Bill Barretta (who did Pepé the King Prawn, Bobo the Bear, and Jim Henson's Rowlf the Dog, Dr. Teeth, and the Swedish Chef), David Rudman (who did Richard Hunt's Scooter, Janice, Wayne, and Bobby Benson), and Matt Vogel (who did Jerry Nelson's Muppet characters and Richard Hunt's and John Henson's Sweetums). After Walter, played by Peter Linz, made his debut in 2011's The Muppets, he will appear in this film. After the principal Disney Fairies characters debuted in 2008, Lucy Liu (Kung Fu Panda) as Silvermist, Raven-Symoné (That's So Raven) as Iridessa, Megan Hilty (Wicked) as Rosetta, Angela Bartys (Tinker Bell films (2009-2014)) as Fawn, Pamela Adlon (Recess) as Vidia will appear in this film. New voice cast were confirmed included Sarah Bolger (Once Upon a Time) as Periwinkle the Snow Fairy, Ricky Gervais (Night at the Museum) as Dominic/Number Two, Timothy Dalton (Toy Story 3) as Lord Milori of Winter, Tina Fey (Ponyo) as Russian prison guard Comrade Nadya, Bill Hader (Inside Out) as Sled the Frost Prince/Snowman, and Ty Burrell (Finding Dory) as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon. Also in the D23 Expo, Bret McKenzie, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, and Robert Lopez joined the project and started writing songs for the sequel.
In March 2012, the film was originally commissioned under the title Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2: The Mysterious Winter Woods.
In June 2012, Joel McNeely (Tinker Bell film series), John Powell (Bolt), Christophe Beck (Frozen), Henry Jackman (Winnie the Pooh, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph), and Patrick Doyle (Brave), and were hired to compose the film.
In September 20, 2012, the title of the film was changed from Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2: The Mysterious Winter Woods to Give a Disney Day. Get Winter's Most Wanted Day.
In February 11, 2013, more voice cast added including Matt Vogel, who voiced the other Muppet characters, as Constantine the Frog/Number One, Martin Short (Treasure Planet) as Dewey the Keeper of all citizen knowledge, Eddie Izzard (Cars 2) as Chlorine Bjørgman the royal gramma, Kelly Macdonald (Brave) as Gaelic tourist Fionnoula MacLise, Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls) and Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) as Peri's close friends, Gliss and Spike, and Alan Tudyk (Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen) as the Duke of Weselton.
More voice cast were confirmed on April 23, 2013 were Jay Leno (Cars) as Fast Tony the armadillo, Will Arnett (Ratatouille) as the Lone Gunslinger Vulture, Ciarán Hinds (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2) as Pabbie the Troll King, Matt Berry (Desperate Housewives) as Gustav the boat gatekeeper bird, and Jemaine Clement (Rio) as the Prison King.

Extended Scenes
The 2013 theatrical cut runs 124 minutes.
Rowlf the Dog takes his verse "We can't do any worse than The Godfather III".
An extended musical sequence takes place during "We're Doing a Sequel" featuring dancers on studio sets and other behind-the-scenes goings on.
Lew Zealand, Statler and Waldorf, and Rowlf offer their own take for what the next Muppet movie should be about.
Peter Serafinowicz and the other Gulag officers dine in a security room. He wonders aloud about the use of a button allowing all the cell doors to open when Constantine bursts in and attacks them.
At the train station at IGP Inc., Kermit the Frog addresses the Muppets about their trip. He shows them the train they'll be taking. The Muppets gaze in awe at the shiny new Amtrak train, until it pulls out of the station revealing the run-down train they're actually using. Scooter also reacts to Beauregard as the driver.
Upon boarding the train, Fozzie Bear excitedly points out the observation deck in the dining car, before realizing it's just missing the roof.
Kermit's explanation for working up from the Hole In The Wall Club in Germany is expanded to include a speech about starting small, "then go slightly less small, and then a touch less small, until we're small to medium-small."
When Dr. Bunsen Honeydew introduces his magnetic bomb attractor vest, he also mentions inventing the automatic drowning helmet, the extra sharp chair, and the unexpectedly exploding cupcake. "Because it's Kermit. Because it's there."
When Miss Piggy complains to Kermit that he never lets her do what she wants, the frog replies that it's because she wants too much. After he yells to Piggy that (once again) they are not engaged, she sobs, "You never loved me, Kermit," to which he responds, "I do love you, Piggy. But sometimes you drive me crazy."
Scooter mistakenly begins to introduce Christoph Waltz as Australian, before he's corrected (he's Austrian). Scooter then has to cancel the "Waltzing Matilda" opening Australian number, to the disappointment of a kangaroo, koala, and Beauregard with a surf board.
In the 2014 theatrical cut, Sam the Eagle gets the last "laugh" when UPS delivers a giant CIA badge. In the 2013 theatrical cut, Jean Pierre Napoleon hands him a file with everything they have on The Lemur, which is filled with Lemur coins.
When Periwinkle calls for Dewey that something happened, Fiona the snowy lynx wakes up and meets Peri and Dewey.
When Kermit first meets Nadya at the Gulag, she provides a brief overview of Constantine's past. It is revealed that he was abandoned by his mother as a tadpole and raised in Russia's largest bomb factory.
A verse of "I'll Get You What You Want (Cockatoo in Malibu)" was cut from the final film. It is included on the soundtrack and the 2013 theatrical cut.
After the mammal kids shoved into the hole, Pitchers exclaims, "Fire ants!"
After the shovelmouth's line, the tapir calls to Fast Tony that the snakes called and they wanted their oil back.
When Tinker Bell walks up to Periwinkle, eating berries, he tells her that she's going extinct. Peri argue with him about extinction.
The 2014 theatrical cut features a very brief scene where Walter observes Kermit (really Constantine) through a window using karate to chop wood in half. The 2013 theatrical cut includes Constantine flipping Scooter after receiving a tap on the shoulder.
Before the performance in Spain, Constantine refuses to go on at first because of the stage fright he suffered in Berlin. He argues about this with Dominic in the bathroom while Scooter listens at the door.
Constantine introduces Gonzo's indoor running of the bulls to a large amount of applause from the audience. As he begins to ham it up, Scooter motions for him to cut it short, but Constantine remains on stage, "Let me drink it in."
After The Electric Mayhem's lengthy performance of "Total Mayhem", the audience wakes up and Dr. Teeth exclaims, "I knew audiences dug jam sessions."
When Sled tells Gliss and Spike if we're traveling, Spike says, "I'd rather grow hair on my wings."
When Gliss lifted Sven's mouth, Tinker Bell and Chlorine Bjørgman jumped back in disgust and Gliss gives them a little plague and calls them fuzzface.
Tinker Bell shows Chlorine a pile of pebbles, which made him slap them out of her hand and fell into the water.
Before Gliss and Spike had a blast, Sled thought he's got a bad feeling about this and his snowman sense is tingling, but Periwinkle says that there's no such thing.
After Jean introduces Sam to Le Maximum, an extended travel-by-map sequence follows from the Geneva through France and the streets of Spain, adding some weight to his line, "37 hours -- not bad!"
Gonzo and Camilla the Chicken are interrogated in their own verse during "Interrogation Song".
The 2014 theatrical cut features Dr. Teeth's verse during "Interrogation Song", "Your accusation's far out, man!" In the 2013 theatrical cut, Floyd Pepper takes his own verse.
After Swedish Chef's line in the "Interrogation Song" on the soundtrack, an unidentified male vocalist sings, "What the chef just said to you was 'schnoopdy-schnoo' it's not Swedish." In the 2013 theatrical cut, the translator is Beaker.
After Sled's favorite moment, Periwinkle says, "A frost prince never forgets."
When Sled realizes he's a frost prince, he insists Periwinkle to go uprooting and show her this new frost prince body can do; also realizes he is a snowman.
Once Sam and Jean realize they're not so different after all, they go back and forth insisting the other go first on their way to Dublin.
After Kermit gains some respect for flipping out on his fellow inmates, he scolds Big Papa for eyeballing him.
When Tinker Bell first came to the amphibian camp, the amphibian tribe gives her a watermelon and a flower, which made her sneeze melon out of her mouth.
Walter follows Dominic as he rides an escalator and ice skates while going to deliver bribes to Irish journalists.
While Nadya kisses a print-out of Kermit at her shrine to him, the guard interrupts to alert her to the riot. She snaps backs, "Can't you see I'm busy?"
After Dominic finds Constantine knitting and asks how they spin the fact that Fozzie, Walter, and Animal have eluded their grasp, Dominic asks if that's a scarf he's knitting. He guesses that it's a present for someone, but Constantine says for whom is not important. Dominic smirks.
While telling the Muppets that Walter and Fozzie have quit the Muppets, Janice said she cried when Walter joined them in the last movie. After Rizzo the Rat and Robin the Frog leave, Dominic says the show will be better without them, to which Statler replies, "Couldn't get any worse!" Finally, in that scene, Link Hogthrob agrees with Constantine that they're better off without them, before being corrected by Floyd.
After Constantine sends the group to have fun yet again, they start to believe that Walter was right about "Kermit" acting weird. Piggy, however, dismisses the idea, saying that Kermit's never been more devoted to her, with Rizzo replying "that's what we're saying"
After Constantine proposes to Piggy, Camilla asks Gonzo when they're getting married. Gonzo says, "I told you, when I'm a millionaire... again," referencing the demolition of his toilet factory in the previous movie.
Piggy notices the odd color of her engagement ring. Constantine says it's a very rare black diamond, which is priceless like him, giving Piggy another clue that something is off about the situation.
Immediately after the proposal, Dominic confronts Constantine backstage about Phase 3 of their plan. Constantine explains that a "stupid variety show" could never be performed at the Tower of London, but you can get married. Thomas Blood's passageways are located directly below St. John's Chapel, as shown on their map.
The Newsman's announcement of the Muppet engagement from the 2014 theatrical cut of the film is extended to include a bull head-butting him out of frame, which is a more Muppet Show-like ending to one of the Newsman's reports.
Danny Trejo performs a stand-up comedy routine in the Gulag Annual Revue. He tells a joke about a short fortune teller who escape from prison (a small medium at large); he wears a tie and punctuates his jokes with a "wocka wocka" similar to Fozzie Bear.
When Walter, Fozzie and Animal plan to break Kermit out of the Gulag, Kermit says they'll have to break the fourth wall to get out.
When the group found the RMS Titanic, they went into a snowball fight.
After the chicken gets roasted by the geyser, the Lone Gunslinger Vulture gets blown to smithereens by the geyser.
Spike was scared with death, but Gliss tells her that we have short life spans. However, the geyser blew up next to Spike, who screamed and passes out.
After Sled says that he's a snowman, he and Periwinkle argue a little bit and they went separate ways.
When Chlorine wakes Periwinkle up, Sled calls out from the redwood tree, telling her to make directions for the RMS Titanic. After the group get out of the geyser field, the ground split in a half. Peri told Sled to go around the city.
After Kermit poses as one of the florists for the wedding, he bumps into Dominic who recognizes him as Constantine. Kermit quickly improvises and insults him in a Russian accent. This lends weight to Fozzie's later line that Kermit acted like James Bond.
While posing as a bear rug, Fozzie gets stepped on by Dominic and screams, "Ow! I mean... nothing!"
Constantine explains Phase 4 to Dominic: he doesn't plan to be married for long. Confused, Dominic explains that if they get a divorce, he'll have to share the Crown Jewels with Piggy 50/50.
Russell Tovey's delivery person gets an extra line and a close-up when he checks his packing sheet to confirm that the recipient is Mr. The Frog.
Cameos by Bridgit Mendler, Debby Ryan, Tyrel Jackson Williams, and Jake Short greeted by Scooter and Rowlf at the wedding were cut.
To escape being hand-cuffed inside Le Maximum, Kermit regurgitates a hair pin which he had swallowed when he's at the Gulag. He spits it into Fozzie's hand, but Fozzie drops it because it's slimy and gross.
In a self-reference to The Muppet Movie, Kermit and Fozzie give each other directions when coordinating their escape with their feet through the bottom of Le Maximum, "Bear, left." "Right, frog."
In the 2014 theatrical cut features Robin who made a cameo. The 2013 theatrical cut includes Robin and '80s Robot helping his uncle Kermit get into the RMS Titanic.
Gustav, the gatekeeper bird decides to issue his own "pre-boarding announcements" at the RMS Titanic.
When Constantine reveals his true identity at the wedding, Rowlf realizes Kermit couldn't have had a cold for so long. Pepé the King Prawn adds he couldn't have that bad an accent either.
This is part of a longer speech Kermit makes at the wedding about love.
Hobo Joe kissing a Whatnot, as seen in one of the trailers, was cut.
When Beaker bears the full brunt of Constantine's bomb, he turns from the Thames in Bunsen's bomb-attracting suit, the head piece of which has exploded.
At one point during the helicopter escape, Constantine steps on both of Kermit's hands one by one, causing Kermit to fall and Piggy to seemingly assume the worst. Next, Sam and Jean show up and try to arrest the Muppets, but instead, end up becoming part of the Muppet ladder. When the helicopter eventually stops, Constantine sets it on full power, causing the ladder to slightly break. Luckily, Kermit shows up, revealing to have been saved by Robin and survived the fall, and makes his way up the ladder.
Uncle Deadly plays "The Wedding March" on the pipe organ during the wedding while Bobo the Bear watches him play. They later take control of the RMS Titanic when it falls from the crags and hits the water.
After the flood is diverted, Kermit wonders how they're going to land the helicopter. Piggy presses the Auto Pilot button.
At the end of the flood, Gustav called for all the animals and citizens to leave the RMS Titanic in an orderly fashion. Instead, Lew Zealand and Chlorine knocks Gustav out cold and the herds of winter and warm citizens, mammals, and Muppets all stampeded out of the RMS Titanic, flattening Gustav as they ran.
When Rowlf points out that the bad guy was Dominic Badguy, Gonzo reminds him of the French pronunciation.
Being escorted away by authorities, Dominic and Constantine bicker about who's Number One now. Dominic sarcastically sings a bit of their previous song about the subject.
Cretaceous and Maelstrom were being carried in a tray by the amphibian tribe, as meals for the vultures. One of them says, "Is that... Bad juju?" and the other says, "No. Good sushi!"
Nadya storms into Buckingham Palace and orders her team to "Arrest that frog!" When Kermit asks what for, she replies, "For breaking my heart!"
Silvermist takes turns frosting warm-weather citizens' wings.

Production
In July 2011, after the critical and commercial success of Give a Day.
A month later at the 2011 D23 Expo, Mae Whitman (Tinker Bell films), Anjelica Huston (Barbie as Rapunzel), Miley Cyrus (Bolt, Hannah Montana), Jesse McCartney (Kingdom Hearts), Megan Hilty (Tinker Bell films (2011-2015)), John Goodman (Monsters, Inc., The Emperor's New Groove), and Grey DeLisle (Bolt) will reprise their roles, as well as Muppet performers Steve Whitmire (who did Rizzo the Rat, Foo Foo and Lips, Jim Henson's Kermit the Frog, Link Hogthrob, and the Newsman; and Richard Hunt's Beaker and Richard Hunt's and Jerry Nelson's Statler), Eric Jacobson (who did Frank Oz's Muppet characters), Dave Goelz (who did the Great Gonzo, Bunsen Honeydew, Zoot, Beauregard, and Jim Henson's Waldorf), Bill Barretta (who did Pepé the King Prawn, Bobo the Bear, and Jim Henson's Rowlf the Dog, Dr. New voice cast were confirmed included Sarah Bolger (Once Upon a Time) as Periwinkle the Frost Princess, Ricky Gervais (Night at the Museum) as Dominic/Number Two, Timothy Dalton (Toy Story 3) as Lord Milori of Winter, Tina Fey (Ponyo) as Russian prison guard Comrade Nadya, Bill Hader (The Good Dinosaur, Inside Out, Monsters University) as Calypso the Snowman/Frost Prince, and Ty Burrell (Finding Dory) as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.
2: The Mysterious Winter Woods to Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2.
In February 11, 2013, more voice cast added including Matt Vogel, who voiced the other Muppet characters, as Constantine the Frog/Number One, Martin Short (Treasure Planet) as Trident the Keeper of all citizen knowledge, Eddie Izzard (Cars 2) as Chlorine Bjorgman the royal gramma, Kelly Macdonald (Brave) as Gaelic tourist Fionnoula MacLise, Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls) and Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) as Clami's close friends, Grotto and Sea Salt, Alan Tudyk (Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen) as the Duke of Weselton, and Megan Fox, Mila Kunis, Meaghan Martin (Kingdom Hearts), and Mandy Moore (Tangled) as the IGP Inc. tourists; Miyuki, Rafaela, Antoinette, and Frieda.
More voice cast were confirmed on April 23, 2013 were Jay Leno (Cars) as Fast Tony the armadillo, Will Arnett (Ratatouille) as the Lone Gunslinger Vulture, Ciarán Hinds (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2) as Pabbie the Troll King, Matt Berry (Desperate Housewives) as Gustav the gatekeeper bird, and Jemaine Clement (Rio) as the Prison King.

The film's premiere was at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California on June 17, 2013.
On August 31, 2013, a sing-along version of Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2 was released in 2,057 theaters in the United States. It featured on-screen lyrics, and viewers were invited to follow the bouncing snowflake and sing along with the songs from the film.
Accompanied Short (Flying Fairy Fest)
Flying Fairy Fest is a 2014 computer-animated short directed by Klay Hall. It was shown in theaters with Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2. Flying Fairy Fest is the first short in the Disney Fairies' Tinker Bell film series and takes place shortly after the events of Secret of the Wings. The short involves Tinker Bell and Periwinkle helping the fairies make their party a success.
Plot
Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman, 25) and her other fairy friends are visiting the Winter Woods for the weekend to see how her sister Periwinkle (Lucy Hale, 24) and the winter fairies are doing. The group is throwing its first party, but no one has shown up. However, Tinker Bell and Periwinkle have a plan to liven up the Hall of Winter. Using a door station tinkered by Tink, they sneak into a party at the Pixie Dust Tree and steal all of its food and fairies to fill the Hall of Winter. The supply runs take them through the closet doors of a married couple's (Colleen O'Shaughnessey, 41 and Jim Ward, 54) bedroom, repeatedly disturbing their sleep.
Once they have the party fully stocked, Terence (Jesse McCartney, 26), the pixie dust fairy, walks in on it while doing a load of pixie dust. He is angry with Peri, but only because they did not invite him. After lighting a blizzard on the snow bank, Terence introduces the crowd to "door jamming," or jumping from the roof with the help of two doors to land safely on the lawn. The warm fairies congratulate Tinker Bell, all eager to pledge to the winter fairies.
In a post-credits scene, the husband and wife wake their son (Cristina Pucelli) up and ask if they can sleep with him, saying that there is a blizzard in their closet. Their son vehemently replies, "That's what I've been trying to tell you!"

Production notes
According to the short's writer/director Klay Hall, "When you first meet the winter fairies at the Winter Woods, they go to the Hall of Winter and the first thing they say is, 'Welcome to Flying Fairy Fest! We haven't thrown a party yet, but when we do we'll be ready,'...I kept telling Secret of the Wings's director Peggy Holmes, 'I really want to see their party. We have to do it in the credits or something.' Then when the idea of doing a short came up, we were like, 'That could be the party!'" The short took around eight months to make, voices were recorded near the end of production of Secret of the Wings. "We would do a couple of pickup lines with Mae Whitman, Lucy Hale and the other actors for the movie and then we'd get the stuff we needed for the short." Flying Fairy Fest was initially considered as a bonus feature for the The Pirate Fairy DVD, but the decision was early made to release the short theatrically.
Release
Flying Fairy Fest premiered with the theatrical release of Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2, on June 28, 2013. Unlike all the feature-length Tinker Bell films (which are rated G by the MPAA), Flying Fairy Fest received a PG rating from the MPAA for some reckless behavior. Thus, it is the first Disney Fairies short to receive a PG rating from the MPAA (unlike all of the Pixie Preview shorts, which were rated G by the MPAA) and also the Disney animated short film to have been designated that rating after 1990's Roller Coaster Rabbit.
The short was released for streaming on January 20, 2015, on the Disney Movies Anywhere application for iPhone and iPad, and on the Disney Movies Anywhere website.
Critical reception
After being screened at the D23 Expo, BigScreen Animation noted "judging from Twitter, the response was tremendous." Newsday said "It starts with a simple plot idea and escalates in classic comedy form." Rotoscopers wrote "This short film was a cool, funny idea. Not a story. It was literally a sequence of jokes with no emotional core whatsoever."
Marketing
The first teaser trailer was released on June 20, 2012, debuting with Brave. A 48-second sneak peek clip for the movie was released on November 1, 2012 in movie theaters with Wreck-It Ralph. A second trailer was released on February 11, 2013, coinciding with Peter Pan; a third on April 26, 2013, showing with Iron Man 3; and a fourth and final trailer, which included scenes from the film, was released on May 25, 2013 with Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Home media
Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2 was released for digital download on October 15, 2013, on Google Play, iTunes, and Amazon. It was subsequently released by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on November 5, 2013. A sing-along edition of Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2 was released on a single-DVD on June 17, 2014.
Video games
A video game based on the film was released on June 25, 2013 for two Nintendo consoles, Nintendo DS and Wii, as well as for the PC platform by Disney Interactive Studios.

Critical response
Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2 received widespread critical acclaim, with several critics, comparing the film favorably to the Disney Renaissance, particularly The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King. Some critics are also believing that the film is better than the previous film. Some journalists thought the film's success marked another Disney Renaissance. The film was praised for its visuals, themes, musical numbers, screenplay, Scrat's reckless antics, and voice acting, especially that of Sarah Bolger, Ricky Gervais, Timothy Dalton, Ty Burrell, Bill Hader, and Tina Fey. The "Let It Go and Touch of Ice" musical sequences was also particularly praised by critics. Review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a score of 99% based on reviews from 279 critics, with an average score of 8.6/10, classifying it as "Certified Fresh", and making it the highest-rated film since The Muppets. The site's consensus reads: "Joyful, fast-paced, and looking as iridescently gorgeous as the winter wonderland, Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2 is one of Disney's fittingly bittersweet melodramas -- that packs enough shimmering animation, singalong songs, clever storytelling, and Scrat's reckless behaviors to entertain Muppet fans all around the world." Another review aggregator, Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 top "universal acclaim" reviews from mainstream critics, calculated a score of 92 based on 39 reviews. Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2 was named the seventh best film of 2013 by Richard Corliss of Time and Kyle Smith of the New York Post and one of the best sequels ever made. The film even packs more mayhem, more music, more madness, and even more Muppets. CinemaScore gave Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2 an "A+" on an A+ to F scale, based on polls conducted during the opening weekend. It gave the film full five (jamón serranos) stars and Two Thumbs up.

In 2014, after the release of Muppets Most Wanted, Disney has scheduled Disco Plaza, a 6-minute short animated film, featuring characters from the 2013 sequel, Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. 2. It was released on October 7, 2014 (the day after Matt Vogel's birthday), with Disney's Diamond Edition of Sleeping Beauty. The short pick up where the sequel has left off, with IGP Inc. becoming certified with snow and Tinker Bell and Clamiwinkle being reunited. The cast consists of Mae Whitman, Sarah Bolger, Steve Whitmire, Eric Jacobson, Tina Fey, Bill Hader, Eddie Izzard, Ty Burrell, Selena Gomez, Amanda Seyfried, Kelly Macdonald, Dave Goelz, Bill Barretta, David Rudman, Matt Vogel, Peter Linz, and Martin Short. Dieter Hartmann compose the score for Disco Plaza, with its rock 'n' roll song, "This Party's Out of Sight". Unlike the two feature-length Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. films (which are both rated G by the MPAA), Disco Plaza received the rating of PG: "Parental Guidance Suggested. Some Material May Not Be Suitable For Children" from the MPAA for some reckless behavior. Thus, it is the first Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. short to receive a PG rating from the MPAA (unlike all of the previously-released Give a Day. Get a Disney Day. shorts, which were rated G by the MPAA) and also the Disney animated short film to have been designated that rating after 1990's Roller Coaster Rabbit. In the short, Tink, Clami, the Muppets, and her friends organizes a party, but no one shows up. To solve the problem, they use door stations to steal visitors from the biggest party going on at the Buckingham Palace.
